Glossary
The words we use, defined.
- Agent
- A configured assistant with a job — chat or task — grounded in chosen knowledge and granted specific tools.
- Skill
- A reusable instruction set or executable package, tested live on real inputs before it is published.
- Workflow
- A visual DAG of steps with triggers, branches, loops and human approval gates.
- Knowledge Hub
- An owned, reusable knowledge asset referenced by many workspaces and agents rather than copied per use.
- Data Product
- A curated dataset over a live connection, publishable only once its validation questions pass a live SQL safety check.
- Workspace
- A project space grouping documents, URLs and instructions so each initiative keeps its own context.
- Run Trace
- The step-by-step record of a run — what executed, what it called, where it paused, what it returned.
- Approval Gate
- A pause point where a named human approves or edits; the run freezes full state and resumes exactly where it stopped.
- MCP tool server
- A read-only Model Context Protocol gateway exposing governed tools to any MCP-compatible agent, with zero credential storage.
